Man Parachutes Off Hartford TV Tower
The Hartford Courant reports police are investigating a
report that someone parachuted off a TV tower on Rattlesnake Mountain
Wednesday morning. Police went to the transmitter site after an alarm was
activated. Police also received a report about the parachutist. Lt. Marshal
Porter said officers didn't find anything during their initial
investigation.
Police towed a car from near the transmission tower but did not know if it had any connection to the alarm and the person who may have parachuted off the tower.
